    Prime Minister Visiting Cox’s Bazar Today

    Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is visiting Cox’s Bazar today for a day-long tour. During his visit, he will participate in the inauguration and laying of foundation stones for various development projects, a tree plantation program, a political rally, and a civic reception.

    At the beginning of his tour, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the re-excavation work of the Patoli Canal in the PMkhali area of Cox’s Bazar Sadar Upazila, a site associated with the memory of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman. Following this, he will inaugurate the ’25 Crore Tree Plantation Program Across the Country’ at Dulahazra Safari Park.

    Later, the Prime Minister will visit the grave of Wasim Akram, the first martyr of the July popular uprising in the Chittagong division. He will also lay the foundation stones for Matamuhuri Upazila and Pekua Municipality.

    In the afternoon, Tarique Rahman will deliver a speech as the chief guest at a public rally organized in Chakaria. He will conclude the day’s events by visiting Cox’s Bazar’s Marine Drive and the sea beach after the rally.
